The Chickadees love to paint, and personally so do I.  Its a very calming activity and allows each child to express themselves in their own way.  Sometimes a child will just put a stroke or two on a piece of paper and say they are done, but other children will fill their whole paper, so much so, that we have to get them a new piece before they rip a hole in it.

The Chickadees didn't paint on paper this time though.  Instead each of them were given a piece of bread and some colored milk to paint with.  And just like with painting on paper, painting on toast proved to be another expression of each child's style. Some added lots of color and painted the whole piece, others just added a swipe or two and were done, but all of them turned out great and yummy too.

I know spring has sprung and the snowflakes are long gone, but I thought I would finally share some of the things the Chickadees were up to during those long winter months.  We had a lot of fun getting ready for Christmas and using snow and cold as a backdrop for many of our learning activities during the months of December and January.

They turned out wonderful! Remember, you're always welcome to take a peek at your Robins notebook. They're on the white shelf near the sandbox in the middle room.

Hello Families! The Robins spent this week in a magical kingdom filled with kings, queens, & dragons. Take a look!

We started out with our weekly class at Naydenov. The Robins have learned so much and all their practice is really paying off. What seemed so challenging at the beginning of year, the Robins now do with such ease. They're amazing!
