On Saturday, November 19th, a very chilly morning, most of the KIDSPACE staff and some of their friends and family showed up at the Clark County Habitat for Humanity build site to volunteer their labor.

This house will soon be the new home of one of the KIDSPACE families.

MAT MAN RETURNS
After reading a book about Mat Man and his hats, the children made their own Mat Man.
Then they imagined what Mat Man was doing or where he was going while wearing a variety of different hats.

Miss Kathy and Miss Sharon brought a box to circle and told us there was a surprise inside. They gave us four clues.
- He is very scared because Thanksgiving is close.
- He is very colorful.
- We saw his family at the Pumpkin Patch.
- He has two legs.
We had many ideas. We guessed a chicken, a car, a dragon and many other guesses. Each time they opened the box and asked, "Are you a chicken?" "Are you a car?" "Are you a dragon?" And each time their friend inside said, "no!" Miss Kathy and Miss Sharon gave us two more clues.
- He has lots of feathers.
- We each made two of them today with our hands.
Then we raised our hands and said, "turkey!" Miss Kathy opened the lid. We were right!!
