How Kidspace Preschool Programs Support Early Learning
Our Preschool program gives children a caring place to grow, explore, and build the early skills they’ll carry into kindergarten. Children learn through hands-on play, small-group activities, and teacher guidance that supports their social, emotional, physical, and early academic development.
With small classes and low ratios, teachers can really get to know each child and offer support that fits their pace and personality. Daily experiences with language, math, movement, and the arts help children build confidence, friendships, and a natural curiosity about the world.
Families can choose two-, three-, or five-day schedules, with optional extended care. For many children in Vancouver, this program is where they discover the joy of learning alongside a warm, consistent community.
TK/Kindergarten Program
Our Program Prepares Children for Transition to Elementary School
Our two-year kindergarten program offers a unique opportunity for children ages 4-6 to grow within a structured, supportive learning environment specifically designed to prepare them for kindergarten and the first grade school year. With a maximum class size of 18 and a 1:9 teacher ratio, children receive individualized instruction in early literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, social understanding, and emotional regulation.
The extended two-year format helps children build familiarity with school routines, expectations, and academic concepts at a developmentally appropriate pace. By the time they transition into elementary school, students demonstrate stronger confidence, smoother adjustment, and a deeper understanding of foundational academic skills.
