ROBINS – April 29 – May 3

This week in the Robins was all about the letter “V” for volcano….take a look!

“V” – Volcano Art

This Robins was inspired to work on a journal entry about a volcano…

We made ice volcanoes by freezing water in bowls with a weighed down cup int he middle. Each Robins had a chance to fill the ice volcano with baking soda, squirt vinegar in and watch it erupt!

Exploring what happens when you mix baking soda and vinegar helped the Robins learn a little bit about chemical reactions…

Later in the week we made a volcano using sand. The Robins took turns adding sand and forming it around a cup in the shape of a volcano.

Thanks for reading! Until next week,
Miss Crystal & Miss Julie
