As you may know, the Robins class has been ALL about gingerbread the last couple of weeks. We’ve read several different versions of the story and incorporated the theme into all different types of learning.
This week the Robins class made their very own gingerbread people.
While we waited for the gingerbread to finish cooking, we created our own versions of the gingerbread story.
From outer space to gingerbread princesses….the Robins really got creative!
At our snack time circle, the Robins took turns sharing the stories they wrote with their friends.
Just then, Miss Valerie rushed into the middle room to tell the Robins that the gingerbread people had somehow escaped from the oven and were on the loose! The Robins set off to find the missing cookies…
They checked EVERYWHERE until we had finally found all 3 gingerbread cookies…Whew!
