ROBINS – “P” is for Pancakes and St. Patrick’s Day

PANCAKES, PANCAKES!

“Let’s make pancakes.”  Shouted the Robins when the letter of the week was P.

So, Miss Julie and Miss Crystal filled a bowl with:  flour, egg, and milk.
There was also a mixing bowl, a cup, a wooden spoon, a ladle, a griddle, and syrup.
After the pancake mix was mixed up, it was time for the fun part.  It was time to make the pancakes.
Each Robin poured 1 cup of the mix onto the griddle.
After a minute or two on one side, Miss Crystal looked at the underside of the pancake.  When it was golden brown it was ready to be turned over.  Ready set, flip!  Up and over went the pancake into the air and landed right side up on the griddle.  In another minute or two the pancake was golden on the underside too.
We added a little syrup and we enjoyed!

SOMETHING GREEN TO DRINK . . .

On Friday, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by making Green Grasshopper Shakes! First, we poured 1 cup of milk  into a blender and added one large scoop of mint chocolate ice cream.
Then we turned the blender on high for about 30 seconds.MMMMmmmm….
the perfect way to celebrate the letter P and St. Patrick’s Day!
Once again two thumbs up!!!!!!Hope you have a great week and try a new food this week and tell us about it.
